Average age of gamers 35, 40% women

A press release last week from the Entertainment Software Association in the US is worth a look for some of the stats that it includes about PC and Internet gamers today:

• The average gamer is 35 years old
• 40% are now women
• One in four are over 50 (after all, it's one way to spend your retirement!)
